"light play" - A landscape forest painting GALLERYI get up early and have my morning coffee just so that I can watch the sun as it rises through the tall forest pine trees outside my window. Light plays through the branches as I sip on my morning coffee and slowly prepare for the day. I never tire of these Muskoka sunrises and the fantastic light show every morning, something I tried to capture in this painting. This charming 5x7" original acrylic painting is held in a handcrafted solid wood frame.

The Queen Anne's lace flower to me symbolizes our silver hairs

Now I have learned that these are the beauty marks of aging gracefully

My son often joins us and the fresh air

I've often thought that trees are good metaphors for our lives
